Thank you for your interest in the search for a new Rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Brooksville, Florida. Please review our Parish Profile, and know we are looking for a full time Rector. Why do you believe you would be the right person for the position of Rector at St. John’s?B. Based on a current Parish Survey, the following pastoral responsibilities are important to the congregation of St. John’s – pastoral care in times of crisis, spiritual guidance and leadership, preaching, knowledgeable in scripture, and counseling persons facing problems or decisions. Based on what you have accomplished, how would St. John’s benefit in these areas with you as our Rector?Our Vestry is acting as our Search Committee and the search process is outlined below:1) We will acknowledge receipt of the above mentioned materials using the contact information provided.2) If we are interested in furthering the dialogue, we will notify the Bishop’s Office of the Diocese of Southwest Florida for approval to continue the process.3) Telephone interviews will be conducted.4) Visits will be made to the home parishes of select applicants.5) Finalists will visit St. John’s to see our church, the community and interview with the Vestry.6) The Vestry makes the final decision and issues the call on behalf of the Parish.Thank you for your interest; we look forward to hearing from you. |
